Organized free play: This will consist of playing with play-dough, drawing, gluing, and coloring. At this time table toys will also be available which consists of Lego’s, blocks, waffle blocks, puzzles, computer games, shapes, connects and many other learning development toys.
Pre-school: I offer a pre-school program, which I purchase from a company monthly. My Pre-school program is Monday-Friday. The program is very educational and the children look forward to this time each day.
Music time, story time, organize play: On the days we don’t have pre-school we enjoy music time with instruments, tape playing and dancing. We do puppet shows and story time.
Outside play: Outside play consists of jungle gym, full size swing set with playhouse on top, sand box with large gravel pit for trucks, cemented sport court, big wheels, scotters, bikes, basketball hoop, and full size play house.
Story time: Each day before lunch we read stories. There is a large selection of books and the children take turns choosing what book they would like to read.
Rest Time: Each child through kindergarten is mandated to take a rest time or quiet time. This time is for all, including the caregiver to rejuvenate and prepare for the afternoon.
We try to maintain a daily schedule as closely as possible, depending on the ages in care. At times a more flexible day will be necessary.
Field trips to the park and other places of interest may take place occasionally.
